We’re still buzzing from a fantastic summer! We were proud to be part of the 68th Wokingham Art Society Annual Summer Exhibition, which ran from July 19th to August 2nd, 2025, at St. Paul’s Parish Rooms.
The exhibition was a huge success, showcasing the talent of over 60 local artists. We were delighted to welcome over 1,000 visitors, including Wokingham MP Clive Jones, and saw a considerable number of works sold.
The winning entries were judged by the esteemed artist Liz Chaderton and presented by a fantastic lineup of dignitaries, including Wokingham Town Mayor Councillor Louise Timlin and Wokingham Borough Deputy Mayor Councillor Rob Comber. A special thank you goes to Daler Rowney for their sponsorship, and to Peter Fagan and his family for presenting the customary Sandra Fagan Award for the best watercolour.
You can view pictures of the awarded works from this year in the official gallery on the Wokingham Art Society website!
Mark your calendars! The 69th Annual Summer Exhibition is already being planned for next year.
If you are a member of the Wokingham Art Society and wish to exhibit your work, please note the eligibility requirement: Only Exhibiting Members who have paid their fees before the end of March 2026 are eligible to display their works at the annual exhibition that year.
We look forward to another wonderful celebration of local art next summer!
