Peek Behind the Curtain at Acorn Open Studios
Ever wonder what artists get up to all day in their studios? Well, now’s your chance to find out! In May, eight super talented artists and makers from East Berkshire are throwing open their studio doors and inviting the public in.
This is the first time this group, which they’re calling “Acorn Open Studios”, is doing this little peek-behind-the-scenes thing. Their goal is to make art more accessible and share the secrets of their creative process.
From May 25-27, you can pop into the studios anytime between 10am-5pm. Wander around, chat with the artists, and get a firsthand look at where all the magic happens. Some of the studios may also be open on other dates in May, so check the individual artist pages to see their exact hours.
Acorn Open Studios is part of the bigger West Berkshire and North Hampshire Open Studios event, so you’ll have even more chances to connect with local artistic talent. Make sure to follow along on Instagram to stay up to date on all the details.

Additional comments: The Studio is in the garden at the end of Coningham Road or where Pendred Road meets Pattinson Road.
